Chocolate oatmeal cookies






Servings: Around 36 cookies 

INGREDIENTS:

- 1 cup melted butter
- 3/4 white sugar
- 1 & 1/4 brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract 
- 2 cups all purpose flour 
- 2 cups of oatmeal 
- 1 tsp iodized salt (optional, only add if butter is unsalted) 
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp of cinnamon (optional) 
- 1 cup of nuts (optional) 
- 1  & 1/4 cup of semi sweet or dark chocolate



1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius. 

2. Mix all the ingredients from butter upto nuts and chocolates. Make sure the melted butter is not hot before putting the eggs. 

3. Grease cookie sheets using butter. Use ice-cream scoop or  a spoon to  scoop cookie dough then place one inch apart. 

4. Bake for 6-8 minutes  in preheated oven(Note that oven temperatures may vary.). Allow cookies to cool  a little bit on baking sheet then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
